Cartier Tank Normale LM Manual Winding PARIS Dial Ref. 78092 Normale
The Tank Normale LM, considered to be the prototype of the Tank series, is a highly sought-after model.
Among the Louis Cartier Collection of the 1970s, it is particularly difficult to acquire due to its extremely low production numbers and limited circulation.
This item is a highly rare piece, being an LM (men's size) with manual winding and an original PARIS dial from that era.
The case is in good condition, and as it is very difficult to find an LM with the original Paris dial, this is a recommended piece.
The overall condition of the case is good, with few major dents or scratches.
There are some minor scratches, but to preserve its original condition, it has been minimally polished.
Although it has become slightly more rounded than at the time of its manufacture, the case edges are still present, retaining the distinctive character of the Normale model.
The case back has minor scratches, but the Cartier logo and serial number remain, indicating good condition. (The 7th digit of some serial numbers is slightly faded, but this is not a significant issue. The number is 0, and the numbers on the face and case back match.)
The dial is a rare PARIS dial from that era.
Light cracks are visible throughout, but they are noticeable depending on the lighting.
From a distance, they are less noticeable.
The dial color is white with few major stains or discoloration, so it is considered to be in good condition.
There are also few scratches on the glass.
The hands are also clean. Although some fading is observed, they are considered to be in good condition.
Overall, it can be said that this is a beautiful specimen.
The buckle is an original 18k YG buckle.
