Yves Saint Laurent Reverso Large Manual-Winding 18K Yellow Gold Cartier Deployant Buckle
A Era Yves Saint Laurent “Reverso” Large Manual-Winding model produced in the 1970s–1980s. Its 21 mm wide × 35 mm tall 18K Yellow Gold case features a reversible design reminiscent of Jaeger-LeCoultre. The White Dial is marked “PARIS,” while the Tank-style design reflects Yves Saint Laurent’s aesthetic sensibility.
There are many uncertainties and theories surrounding its production, including claims that it was made by the same case manufacturer as Cartier. The Manual-Winding movement is an ETA 2512, also used by Cartier. This watch was designed by the Tank-loving Yves Saint Laurent, and shares several features with Cartier watches. With elements reminiscent of Cartier's now-famous and increasingly expensive Reverso, this is a vintage Reverso that remains relatively accessible.
Paired with a genuine Cartier Era 18K Yellow Gold Deployant Buckle and a custom-made crocodile Strap. The Wrist Size can be adjusted within a range of 16.5–18.5 cm. In addition to its simple design, it features an ETA movement that is easy to service, making it a great choice for Cartier enthusiasts and those new to vintage watches. An original Yves Saint Laurent Cartier Gold-Plated Buckle is also included.

CONDITION
The watch is in very good overall condition. The reversible case operates and slides very smoothly. There are no major scratches on the case, though there are minor signs of wear and a small dent in one area.
To preserve its original condition, the case has received very little polishing. The case engravings remain crisp, with no signs of excessive polishing. There are minor scratches on the case back bearing the Saint Laurent logo, which we have left as is to preserve its originality.
The dial and hands are in excellent condition, with almost no scratches or dirt. The crystal has only minor scratches and is also in very good condition. We inspect each watch individually and select pieces based on their condition as timepieces.
