CITIZEN 7400 Limited Edition of 4,300 Worldwide Cal.7400 Future Technology Heritage Rare Item

This time, we'd like to introduce a very rare Citizen multi-band atomic clock, the 7400.

The "7400" was released in 1993 as the world's first multi-band atomic clock.
It's a very rare item, with only 4,300 pieces produced worldwide (4,000 in Europe, 300 in Japan).

It was a groundbreaking and experimental watch at the time, automatically receiving radio waves from Central Europe (Germany), the UK, and Japan to adjust to the correct time.
Above all, the design is superb, with a coil placed in the center symbolizing the antenna and a beautifully curved crystal glass specially designed for it, which catches the eye.
It has many functions, such as a calendar display and GMT function, and can also be set to times in countries other than Germany, the UK, and Japan.
We have confirmed that it still receives radio waves in Japan, and while it's more for appreciation than practical use, it is an item of great historical value.
The 7400 appears to be registered as a future technology heritage by the National Museum of Nature and Science.

The right dial is for time functions and has a 24-hour display hand.
The top left is the calendar (displayed only while pressing the crown on the top left).
The bottom right is for switching receiving modes (changing country time zones).

The case and bracelet are in excellent condition, with no major dents or dings and very few scratches.
The dial and hands are also in good condition with almost no discoloration or dirt.
The glass has light minor scratches, but no major scratches are visible to the naked eye. This is quite rare, as many pieces have chips on the edge of the glass.
The bezel has minor scratches but no significant peeling.
Overall, it is in very good condition.
The bracelet is also not stretched and can fit a wide range of wrist sizes up to 17.8cm, with plenty of links.

As an atomic clock, we have confirmed radio wave reception by forcing reception of Japanese radio waves in the Hokuriku region.
We have not confirmed reception in other areas, so we cannot guarantee reception in other areas. (We believe it will receive in good outdoor radio wave conditions, but please understand this in advance.)
We have also not confirmed reception in Germany or the UK, so these are also excluded.
Also, this may be a structural defect or problem with this watch, but the left calendar hand and right second hand tend to shift due to impact or use, so hand misalignment may occur depending on usage conditions.
Currently, radio wave reception is fine, and it can be used as a quartz watch without problems, but we recommend using it mainly for appreciation.
We will also attach a copy of the Citizen manual printout in English. (Due to the complexity of operation settings, we do not recommend complex settings.)
