H. Moser Square WG Manual Winding 1970s
This time, we introduce the luxury watchmaking brand, H. Moser.
Founded in 1828, it is a brand with a rich history, but it went out of business in 1979 due to the quartz crisis.
It was revived by the prestigious Meylan family and has now become a luxury brand that produces a small number of watches with unique designs and mechanisms.
This piece is from before the brand went out of business in 1979, likely dating to around 1970.
It is a boy-sized watch, suitable for both men and women.
Vintage H. Moser watches are not widely known, so they are not very common.
The WG case is beautifully crafted, with clean square edges and an elegant connection between the lugs and the case, resulting in a sophisticated finish.
Unfortunately, the movement is an ETA-based movement, which suggests it is from around the time the company went out of business.
The condition is quite good, making it a historical piece.
The case has some minor scratches, but it is very clean. Although there are scratches on the hairline, the polish is minimal and the case's contours are well-defined.
The silver dial changes color depending on the light, so please refer to the wearing photos for an idea of its appearance.
The crystal has some minor scratches but is clean.
Both the dial and hands have some minor scratches but are clean.
The buckle is also genuine H. Moser stainless steel.
The band is an aftermarket band.
