The Tank is an indispensable part of any discussion of Cartier.
This is the Cadran LM, a derivative model of the Tank Obus.
The LM and SM were released in the 1980s, but the LM is particularly scarce, and examples in good condition are extremely rare.
The Cadran is based on the Tank Obus design, with Roman numerals rendered in blue enamel on the bezel.
Its distinctive design is uncommon among Cartier watches, making it a highly collectible piece.
With virtually no fading to the enamel, and the original PARIS Dial from the period beautifully preserved, this is a highly recommended example.
This Cadran model is generally equipped with a quartz movement.
