Authorized Service Completed Cartier Tank Louis LM PARIS Dial Complete Service

The classic Tank Louis Cartier from the Tank collection. In recent years, its value has continued to rise, with the rarity of LM Manual-Winding models from around 1970 increasing particularly sharply. This is an exceptionally rare example with a new PARIS Dial following a complete service by Cartier. Normally, even when a watch has a PARIS Dial, replacing the dial through Cartier’s complete service changes the marking to “swiss made.” This rare example, however, received a replacement PARIS Dial. Although the standards and conditions are unclear, it was undoubtedly serviced by an authorized Cartier facility and comes with a certificate, confirming its authenticity. Examples like this apparently appear only very rarely. It is extremely uncommon to find a new PARIS Dial example that has received a complete service in this condition. Normally, PARIS Dials circulate as features of watches from the original period, whereas this watch was fitted with a PARIS Dial during an authorized service. The dial fitted during the complete service is made from a material that is less prone to cracking. With its PARIS Dial in excellent condition, this watch is particularly well suited to Everyday Wear.
