The Tank Normale LM, a model regarded as the prototype of the Tank collection and attracting considerable attention.
Among the 1970s Louis Cartier collection, the Normale LM was produced in particularly small numbers. This example is especially rare, featuring a period PARIS Dial.
It is also an exceptionally rare example in remarkably good condition, with virtually no cracks in the dial.
Many Tank Normale examples have cracks, and they rarely appear even when actively sought out, so we are pleased to have acquired this unusual example.
The case is also in excellent condition, at a level of preservation unlikely to be seen often in the future. We strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-preserved Normale.

Condition and Warranty
The case is in good overall condition, with few significant dents or scratches.
Although it has received a light polish, the edges and shape remain remarkably well defined, suggesting that it was originally in very good condition.
There are some minor scratches, but we have left them untouched in order to preserve its original condition.
There are no dents.
The caseback has only minor scratches, while the Cartier logo and Serial Number remain exceptionally clear, and it is in good condition.
Both the front and back of the case are in remarkably good condition.
The dial is the rare period PARIS Dial.
It is in remarkably good condition, with essentially no visible cracks.
The only issue is an extremely fine mark or crack-like feature near 4 o'clock, visible only with close inspection under a loupe.
The dial is white, with very little discoloration—only slight discoloration in the corners around 4–5 o'clock and 11 o'clock.
Even this is difficult to notice. There are virtually no scratches.
The crystal has few scratches and is nearly free of marks.
The hands have some minor scratches but are clean considering their Era.
Overall, this is an exceptionally well-preserved example.
It is fitted with an original 18K yellow-gold Cartier Deployant Buckle.
