BOVET Fleurier WG Skeleton back Guilloche Star dial D801.0
Today we are introducing the Fleurier D801.0 from the luxury manufacture brand, BOVET.
This model features a very distinctive dial specification.
It is a blue guilloché dial with star indices and the characters "15.巳,9" on it.
Originally, the number 3 is represented as 15 and the number 6 as "巳," which I believe are auspicious numbers.
With its slightly larger 39mm WG case, WG deployant buckle, exhibition caseback, and a highly rare and unique dial, this is a truly fascinating timepiece.
This BOVET piece dates from after 2000, and although details are unclear, it is likely a limited edition or a small-batch production model, possibly made to order.
While BOVET may not be widely known in Japan, it is a globally recognized luxury brand.
It is known as a manufacture brand that limits its annual production to 800 pieces, with one-third of them being custom orders.
The dial is a beautiful blue guilloché, and the case is made of white gold (WG).
The initials of the original owner are inscribed near the 6 o'clock lug.
The combination of a 39mm WG case and a deployant buckle from this era is quite rare.
The movement is a manufacture caliber developed and produced in-house by Bovet.
With a case reminiscent of a pocket watch and a movement, exterior, and interior that evoke the aristocratic elegance of the pocket watch era, this timepiece is of an exceptionally high standard.
There are minor scratches on the case, but no dents or major damage are visible. It is in very clean condition. The rhodium plating also remains intact.
Both the front and back crystals are clean, with virtually no scratches.
The dial and hands are both in clean condition.
The band is genuine BOVET. While there are some signs of use such as dirt and stains, it can still be used without issue.
The deployant buckle is also genuine BOVET 18k WG.
