Cartier Ceinture XL Automatic Automatic Ref. 17001 AT Complete Service
This is a 1970s Cartier Ceinture XL Ref. 17001 from the Louis Cartier collection. The XL, which is larger than the Manual-Winding LM, features an Automatic movement. The LM measures approximately 28 mm, while the XL is slightly larger at approximately 31 mm.
Although it is called XL, it is not particularly large, making it an ideal men's size for a relaxed, masculine vintage look.
Because it houses an Automatic caliber, the case back has a raised shape, making this feature immediately recognizable when viewed from the side.
Although vintage, its full completeness provides the peace of mind needed for everyday wear. The convenience of an Automatic movement, well-balanced size, and Swiss-made dial, which is less prone to cracking, make this an excellent choice for daily use.

Condition and Warranty
This watch underwent Cartier’s complete service in March 2026.
The glass, crown, case screws, and dial were almost fully serviced, with more than ¥200,000 spent on the repairs.
Overall, the condition is very good.
The case has only light scratches, with no dents, and is very clean overall. Cartier performed a light polish, so the edges remain sharp and well defined.
The case back also has only minor scratches and is in clean condition, with the Serial Number fully preserved.
The white Swiss-made dial is clean overall, with no dirt, scratches, or discoloration.
The hands and glass are both exceptionally clean.
