Cartier Old Model Deployant Buckle 16mm YG

This is a genuine Cartier vintage Deployant Buckle of the earlier type. It is a rare specification used on vintage Cartier watches primarily from the 1970s and 1980s, with a different construction from the current Deployant Buckle. Rather than adjusting the Strap length at the buckle, it is designed for use with a dedicated Strap sized to fit the wearer’s Wrist Size. This is a rare genuine Cartier part used on select vintage models of the period, including the Tank Louis, Ceinture, and Vendôme. It is not compatible with Straps designed for the current Deployant Buckle. A flat-profile Strap specifically made for the earlier Deployant Buckle is required.
