The Must de Cartier Tank was released for the general market based on the historically enduringly popular Tank Louis.
Rare early Must Tanks without the Must de designation are known as pre-Must Tanks.
With Tank Louis prices rising, this is a recommended piece.
The differences between the Tank Louis and the pre-Must are the materials and the dial lettering. However, when placed side by side, they look remarkably similar, making it easy to understand why production was discontinued. It would be an interesting choice both as an entry-level watch and as a casual piece to wear for a change of pace.

## Condition and Warranty
The watch shows little wear, and much of the original period plating remains intact. Because we wanted to preserve the original plating, the watch has hardly been polished, so there are some scratches, but its overall condition is good.
There is light dirt and minor surface wear, but the dial, hands, and crystal are all clean. For a pre-Must, it appears to be in remarkably good condition.
