Condition and Warranty

Powered by Frederic Piguet Cal. 21, this is a highly sought-after model among enthusiasts. The type with a Guilloché Dial and “Swiss Made” lettering is rare, and this example was serviced in its home country by Cartier, comes with a warranty, and is in excellent condition.

The Santos Extra Flat model from the 2000s CPCP collection was created based on this model, and its size and construction are nearly identical.
The movement has also been replaced with a new Cal. 21 through a complete service, and the Guilloché Dial pattern is the same specification as that of the CPCP model.
The differences appear to be limited to the “Cartier Paris” inscription and this model’s slightly ivory-toned, vintage-style dial.
Both are a matter of personal preference, but this model is especially suited to those who appreciate vintage-style dials.

Cartier’s complete service was completed in June 2024, making this an exceptionally well-maintained example.
The case has received virtually no polishing. There are minor scratches on the case and bezel, which have been left untouched.
The edges remain properly defined. The original case condition has been preserved, and it remains in beautiful condition.
There are some light dents on the case back, but these have been left as-is to preserve its originality.
The dial was replaced during Cartier’s factory service. The original Guilloché “Swiss” dial has been replaced with a Guilloché “Swiss Made” dial. Its specifications remain almost exactly as they were at the time.
The hands and crown have also been replaced with new parts, making this an exceptionally well-preserved example.
The movement is now a new Cal. 21, providing a high level of reliability.

The watch is fitted with an original Cartier GP Buckle.
