This Automatic Santos model was produced from the 1970s through the 1980s.
Its Godron bracelet has become increasingly popular among collectors in recent years.
The sculptural detailing at the center links creates a luxurious sports-watch aesthetic rarely seen today.
Although the Case Size is 29 mm, this is a men's size from the period that can also be enjoyed as part of a fashion ensemble, alongside other accessories.
With a date display and seconds hand, it is one of the Cartier collections that is easy to wear every day.
PRODUCT DETAILS
Condition and Warranty
This watch has undergone a complete service at Cartier, including replacement of the dial, crown, and case screws, as well as a complete service overall. It has been thoroughly repaired at considerable expense.
The exterior has been finished with a light polish, although some light scratches remain.
There are minor scratches, but no prominent dents.
The bracelet has virtually no sagging, and both the case and bracelet are in good condition.
Light dents and minor scratches could be removed with further polishing, but we have limited the work to a light polish in order to preserve its original condition. Further polishing is available upon request.
The dial and hands have been replaced and are completely free of scratches and discoloration.
The screws and crown have also been replaced. Although we do not particularly recommend it, the watch appears to retain a certain degree of water resistance.
As the movement has also been renewed, this is an exceptionally accurate and dependable example.
