This model was produced from the 1970s through the 1980s and is equipped with an Automatic movement.
It features a popular luxury sports design among vintage Cartier watches.
Although the Case Size is 29mm, it is a period-correct men’s size that can also be enjoyed as part of an outfit alongside other accessories.
With a date display and central seconds hand, it is one of the Cartier collections particularly suited to everyday wear.
This model received a complete service by Cartier, during which the dial was replaced with the newer “swiss made” type and the bracelet was changed to the later folding-clasp style.
The bracelet was technically improved for greater ease of use, and the dial was changed to a more crack-resistant material, making this watch particularly practical for everyday wear.
Since replacing the bracelet through Cartier is currently quite expensive, this is an excellent value for anyone seeking the later bracelet type.
PRODUCT DETAILS
Condition and Warranty
This example is in excellent overall condition, with very few scratches or dents.
There are some fine scratches, but the bracelet has minimal sagging.
It has received only a light polish, with polishing kept to a minimum.
The case has some minor scratches and signs of wear, but there are relatively few major impact marks. (Polishing has been kept to a minimum.)
The dial is a newer “swiss made” dial installed by Cartier.
It is whiter than the period-original dial and has been changed to a more crack-resistant material.
It is otherwise in exceptionally good condition, with virtually no scratches, staining, or discoloration.
The caseback has relatively few scratches, and the engravings remain clearly visible.
The Serial Number is not visible in the photographs. It is faint but can be confirmed with a loupe.
Overall, this is an exceptionally well-preserved example, and its condition suggests that it was likely worn infrequently.
