Boucheron pieces from before 1970 have recently gained significant attention, highlighted by features in HODINKEE.
The watch features a patented clasp system, still in use today, that allows the band to be attached and detached by sliding it. This was a unique design for its time.
This system offers the advantage of easy on/off for the watch and a very comfortable fit, as there is no clasp around the wrist.
Furthermore, this gold model boasts incredibly beautiful engraving on its case and dial, making it a truly rare find.
Regarding its condition, the case has minor scratches but no significant dents.
While it is largely unpolished, the case condition is quite remarkable considering its age.
Notably, the case edges are very sharp and well-defined, indicating that it has been kept unpolished for many years—a historically rare model.
The dial, hands, etc., also show some scratches and dirt, but are considered clean given their age.
Although the hands show some discoloration, they have developed a nice patina, suggesting good overall condition.
The crystal is also clean.
There are no other particularly noticeable areas, and it has not been polished to maintain its original condition.
Overall, it is in good condition considering its age.
