Patek Philippe, the world's leading haute horlogerie manufacture, was founded in 1839.
Gondolo is said to have originated from Patek Philippe's sales through the Brazilian firm Gondolo & Labouriau.
Although its appearance has changed over the years, it has often featured a square case and remains a rare model that continues to command admiration as a coveted alternative to the Calatrava.
This Ref. 4268 features a well-proportioned square case, with dimensions close to those of the Louis Cartier Tank LM from the 1980s.
Unlike the Louis, the case and crystal curve in an R shape, while the crown is integrated into the case, creating an exceptionally clean design.
This slim Manual-Winding model is equipped with Cal. 16-250. For a Patek Philippe with dimensions close to the Tank Louis LM, this is an exceptionally appealing piece at this price.
