Allow us to introduce the Chaumet Pleiades Power Reserve.
This model is from Chaumet's Pleiades collection, launched in 1993, and features a skeleton case back with a power reserve complication.
At the time, three types were released in the same design: a quartz model, an automatic model, and this automatic model with a power reserve. This automatic Ref. A12 is a high-grade item.
This watch has a slightly larger 36mm round case, but its unique case shape features sharp edges on its end faces, as if combining two semicircles.
The lugs are designed to be hidden, making it a unique piece that feels unlike ordinary watches.
It is rarely seen on the market.
The overall condition is good, with few major dents or scratches. It has been finished with a light polish.
The case does not feel thin or have rounded edges; the edges are still sharp and clean.
Both the dial and glass are clean with no cracks.
The movement visible through the skeleton case back is also very clean.
The buckle provided is an 18k type. It is not original, but its shape is almost identical to the original, with the only difference being the absence of the "Chaumet" engraving.
The strap is a new aftermarket product.
