Introducing the Ref. 78101 Favarge LM from the Louis Cartier Collection, launched around the 1970s to 1980s. It attracted attention as a relatively large square, tonneau-shaped model within the collection.
This is an uncommon model within the Louis Cartier Collection, and the LM with a PARIS Dial is particularly rare.
It is even more unusual to find one with a dial free of cracks.
Unlike the Tank Louis, its case has a curved tonneau shape, and its relatively large Case Size for its era gives it a highly distinctive character.
The combination of a completely crack-free dial and a PARIS Dial is exceptionally scarce. It is also an early model, before hidden lettering was introduced, adding further rarity to this piece.

Condition and Warranty
The case has only light fine scratches and no significant dents. The scratches on the caseback are minor, and the Serial Number and other markings remain clearly visible.
The crystal has some fine scratches but no chips, offering good legibility and remaining in clean condition.
The dial is the highly sought-after PARIS Dial and has no cracks. If anything, there appears to be slight discoloration around 6 o'clock, but it is likely imperceptible without a loupe.
On close inspection, the dial has some minor marks, but considering its Era, it remains remarkably clean.
It is fitted with a genuine Cartier Strap. (It shows some signs of use but remains clean.)
The Buckle is a genuine Cartier 18K Buckle.
