This time, we are introducing the Basica WG AT from the high-end manufacture brand, Parmigiani Fleurier.
Parmigiani is famous for the Tonda, but this piece is from the brand's early period, around 2000.
It falls into the category of post-vintage models.
Recently, Parmigiani's early models, the Trick, have been attracting attention, and while this Basica may not have the same intricate craftsmanship as the early Trick, it features a simple, uncluttered design.
The production and distribution numbers are not very high, making it a rare model.
The face is 37mm, making it a perfect size for those who like the current Tonda 36mm.
Although it is not a micro-rotor, it is not very thick and seems very easy to wear.
The movement visible through the transparent case back has a superb finish, and the dial is a beautiful, pale, translucent ceramic-like blue.
The beautiful hands, case, and lugs, characteristic of Parmigiani, are still present from this era.
The condition is excellent, and considering the current prices, this is a highly cost-effective item.
The WG case has only minor fine scratches, but no dents or major scratches are visible, making it very clean.
The rhodium layer is also well-preserved.
Both the front and back crystals are clean, with almost no scratches.
Both the dial and hands are in very clean condition.
The buckle is also a genuine Parmigiani 18k WG.
The strap is an aftermarket crocodile strap. The buckle also has only minor scratches and is very clean.
The overall condition is very good.
