While the Santos Galbée is often associated with a bracelet model, this one features a leather band.
It is an LM-sized quartz type.
Ref. 1566 shared the same model number with other Santos Galbée bracelet types and leather types, and a small number of leather types existed.
Since this leather band type was sold from the time of its initial release, it does not come with a bracelet.
Being leather, it is light and easy to use for formal occasions, and being quartz, it can be used casually, which is its advantage.
As it does not use a genuine Cartier band but can use an aftermarket band, it is also a cost-effective item.
The case condition is quite good, with few major scratches overall.
The case edges are also solid.
The serial number is clearly visible on the case back and is very clean.
