We are pleased to introduce a rare Polerouter Sub by Universal Geneve, famous for developing micro-rotors.
The Polerouter Sub is a well-known diver's model from Universal Geneve.
Its interesting and unique Universal features, not found in other companies, include an asymmetrical case, a Gay Frères bracelet, a screw-down crown, and a very thin case thickness due to the micro-rotor.
This particular piece was manufactured between the late 1960s and 1970s and is in full original condition. The bracelet also appears to be fully linked.
With minimal damage to the dial, the condition is quite good considering its age, making it a rare find.
In terms of condition, the case and bracelet have minor scratches but no major dents.
It is basically unpolished, but the case condition is quite clean considering its age.
The case back has minor scratches but is clean. The serial number is a little faded but still clearly visible.
The dial, hands, etc., have light scratches and dirt, but are considered clean for their age.
The common dullness or discoloration of the indexes and hands are minimal, and the condition is quite good.
The crystal is not cracked, but there are overall streaks that look like minor cracks.
It is a rare Universal original crystal with a cyclops lens on the inside, so it has not been replaced. However, if necessary, it can be replaced with a generic crystal (the lens will not be included).
The bracelet has some stretch but is in good overall condition. The clasp is also secure.
