Today we're featuring the Fleurier D800.1 from the luxury manufacture brand, BOVET.
This is a truly special timepiece, with stunning engraving on the see-through movement on the back, and enamel decoration and pearls on the rotor.
The engraving is incredibly delicate and intricate, reminiscent of the arabesque patterns found on BOVET pocket watches from an earlier era.
The arrangement and shape of the bridges are also quite unique, clearly demonstrating the craftsmanship and time invested by the artisans.
I believe this is an irresistible piece for any watch movement enthusiast.
This BOVET piece is from around 2000, and while details are unknown, it appears to be a limited edition or custom-ordered model produced in small quantities.
BOVET, though not widely known in Japan, is a globally recognized luxury brand.
It's known as a manufacture brand that limits its annual production to 800 pieces, with one-third being custom orders. Standard models range from approximately 4 million yen to 60 million yen. Full custom orders can reach limitless prices.
The dial is a beautiful white enamel, and the case is set with high-quality diamonds.
The dial features the initials of the person who ordered it.
The movement is a manufacture caliber, developed and produced in-house by Bovet.
With a case reminiscent of a pocket watch and a movement that evokes the aristocratic atmosphere of the pocket watch era, this timepiece exhibits an extremely high level of quality both externally and internally.
While there are some minor scratches on the case, no dents or significant damage are visible. It is in very clean condition.
Both the front and back crystals are clean, with virtually no scratches.
The dial and hands are also in clean condition.
The band is genuine BOVET. It shows some signs of use but is still clean and perfectly functional.
The buckle is also genuine BOVET 18k.
