Patek Philippe is a world-class manufacture founded in 1839.
This time, we introduce a Patek Philippe tonneau type from 1911.
This is a special timepiece made of platinum and diamonds. Although the details are unknown, given these unique specifications, it is likely a custom-made item.
Patek Philippes from the 1910s are rarely seen. Moreover, the fact that it is in working order and comes with an archive is also considered rare.
This watch was made in 1911, a time when wristwatches were not yet common.
Its construction, featuring a pocket watch-based movement encased in a tonneau case, evokes a sense of history.
This model, given the reference number 169.000, is highly distinctive with its Breguet hands and matte Roman numeral dial.
The diamonds on the bezel and crown, the platinum case, and the decorated buckle on the strap, which fastens like a button, all indicate that this is a very aristocratic watch.
Despite being over 100 years old, this watch is in relatively good condition.
The case shows minor scratches but is generally in good condition with few major dents.
We have not polished the case at all.
The dial, hands, and crystal all have some dirt and scratches, but are in relatively good condition.
