Introduced in 1953, the TISSOT Navigator World Time is a celebrated classic.
This model was produced as a 100th-anniversary edition.
Although it is more than 60 years old, it offers outstanding usability with its large 36 mm case size and half-rotor movement.
The watch’s defining feature is the combination of a half-rotor and a world-time function. The outer bezel displays the time, while the inner world-time disc shows the 24-hour indication or the time in other cities.
Time adjustment is simple: press the pusher at 2 o’clock and make the adjustment. Combined with the half-rotor movement, this gives the watch a level of practicality and clarity that remains relevant today.
This is a practical and accessible world-time watch, made especially rare by its 18K construction.
This model was produced in large numbers with gold-plated GP cases.
14K models are occasionally seen, but this example is the rarely encountered 18K version—an exceptionally high-grade model produced in very limited numbers.

Condition and Warranty
The dial shows some aging, but its overall deterioration is relatively limited. Considering its Era, this appears to be an exceptionally well-preserved example and is a piece that rarely comes to market.
The case has some minor scratches but no major dents.
It is essentially unpolished, and the case remains remarkably clean considering its Era.
The caseback also has some scratches, while the Serial Number and Reference engravings remain on the inside.
The dial and hands have some scratches and marks, but appear remarkably clean considering their Era.
The hands are also in very good condition for their Era.
The crystal is exceptionally clean, with very few scratches.
There are no other particularly noticeable issues, and the watch has not been polished in order to preserve its original condition.
Overall, it is in good condition considering its Era.
