Patek Philippe, founded in 1839, is one of the world’s finest haute horlogerie manufactures.
The Calatrava, the pinnacle of dress watches and an icon of the brand, is a rare model that continues to reign as a classic and an object of admiration.
This Ref. 3588 features a simple combination of a slightly larger 35 mm white-gold case and an Automatic movement.
It comes with its archive extract and is in exceptionally good condition.
Most examples of the Ref. 3588 are fitted with a bracelet, making those with a Leather Strap relatively rare.
Calatrava models with a larger 35 mm case, an Automatic two-hand movement, and a gold case are particularly uncommon, making this Ref. 3588 an excellent value.
It is also equipped with caliber 28-255, the same movement used in the first Nautilus model, offering a high level of reliability and refinement.
It is fitted with its original period-correct 18k white-gold Buckle.

Condition and Warranty
One of the most notable features of this watch is its exceptionally good condition.
The Dial is exceptionally beautiful, with a refined, pale ivory-tinged white color reminiscent of a tropical Dial.
The case has some light scratches, but is in very good overall condition, with few significant dents or scratches.
There is virtually no sign of case thinning or softened contours. The edges remain remarkably crisp. As it was exceptionally clean when acquired, it has not been polished.
The Dial is exceptionally clean, with a pale ivory-tinged white color reminiscent of a tropical Dial.
Upon close inspection, there is some light staining and fading around the edges, but it is barely noticeable.
Both the hands and crystal are clean, with almost no dirt or scratches.
