This is a rare automatic winding model from the Louis Cartier collection, known as Jumbo or XL.
The Ref. 17011 introduced this time, as its "Jumbo" name suggests, is larger than the 24mm LM model, measuring 27mm.
Characteristically, to accommodate the thick movement with its rotor, the case back is convex, giving the thick case a very distinctive look.
This size and thickness are particularly rare for a Louis Cartier model.
Jumbo models are not widely available, and I believe many people are looking for one.
This particular watch features a beautiful "Swiss made" dial.
In April 2024, the glass was replaced and case screws were exchanged at Cartier.
The case condition is generally very good, with few major dents or scratches.
There is no thinning of the case or rounding of its shape. The gold engraving on the side also remains.
The case is in excellent condition.
The original glass has also been replaced with a new one.
The dial is a very clean "Swiss made" white dial. There are no cracks or scratches. Although it is a "Swiss made" dial, the whiteness is more subdued compared to "Paris" dials.
The hands are also very clean, and the overall condition of this piece is excellent.
The buckle is an authentic 18k Cartier buckle, and the strap is also an authentic Cartier strap.
The strap shows very little signs of use and is in excellent condition.
