Blancpain is a luxury manufacture brand said to be the oldest existing mechanical watchmaker in the world.
The brand went out of business due to the quartz crisis in the 1970s, but later revived and returned to its current position. The watch we are introducing this time is from the period before the closure.
It has a very rare design, and the brand itself is rarely seen as a vintage item.
This model is a color variation of the YG model we have in stock.
Based on the serial number, the watch is believed to be a model from the late 1950s to early 1960s.
While Blancpain is famous for its FIFTY FATHOMS and Villeret, vintage models are mostly expensive FIFTY FATHOMS, and solid gold dress watches are rarely seen.
The case has a special shape, and it is meticulously engraved.
At that time, engraving was done by hand, so it is quite beautiful.
The outer edges are also cleanly cut, resulting in a delicate and beautiful design.
