Cartier Vendome LM WG PARIS Dial Manual Winding D-Buckle Rare Model ref. 78090

This is a rare WG Vendôme model with a "PARIS" dial from the Louis Cartier Collection.

The Ref. 78090 Vendôme LM White Gold we are introducing today.
This is a highly rare timepiece for its era, featuring a white gold hand-wound movement and a "PARIS" dial.
This WG Vendôme model was produced in very limited numbers during an exclusive period in the early 1970s.
Due to its extremely limited production, it is considerably rarer than its YG counterpart, making it a highly collectible item.

This particular WG model is rarely seen on the market (the reference number for both YG and WG was the same during this period).
We believe many are seeking this Louis Cartier Collection and 1970s WG hand-wound models.
Its condition is excellent, and the "PARIS" dial is a great combination.
The inclusion of the original WG D-buckle from that period is also a notable highlight.

The case is in remarkably good condition, showing only minor scratches overall, with no significant dents or deep scratches.
The polishing on the case is minimal, so it doesn't appear worn, and the rhodium plating is clean.

The crystal is original with very few scratches.
The dial shows no cracks visible to the naked eye.
Scratches and discoloration appear to be very minimal, indicating the dial is in excellent condition.
There is some slight damage to the dial on the edge near the 9 o'clock position, though it is not very noticeable.

Otherwise, the "PARIS" dial is clean with almost no scratches or dirt, and the hands are beautiful blued steel without discoloration.
The sapphire on the crown has some minor scratches, but they are barely noticeable unless you look closely.

The buckle is a rare original Cartier 18k WG D-buckle from the period, and the strap is our custom-made band.
