Cartier introduced the Must series in the 1970s. It is one of the most iconic masterpieces that made Cartier watches famous.
This black Roman dial Large model existed only among the original Manual-Winding models released at the time. Unlike the ivory dial, which was also available with a quartz movement, it was produced in smaller numbers and has an especially captivating presence.
Unlike the standard Must models, it features a distinctive black enamel dial with silver Roman indexes. The combination of black and silver with a Manual-Winding Tank is unique to this model.
It is equipped with the Cal. 78-1, also used in the prestigious Louis Cartier and Tank lines, making it a serious watch despite being a Must model.

The dial has light cracks overall.
They are difficult to capture in photographs and very hard to notice with the naked eye.
Some areas around the engravings on the caseback have shallow unevenness, but this does not affect wear, and the engravings remain visible to the naked eye.
