The Must Tank, released for the general market, is based on the historically popular Tank Louis.
The rare early Must Tank without the “Must de” marking is known as a Pre-Must Tank.
This is a model intended for the American market.
With Tank Louis prices rising, this is a recommended piece.
The differences between the Tank Louis and Pre-Must are the materials and dial markings, but when placed side by side they look remarkably similar, making it easy to understand why production was discontinued.
It would be an interesting choice both as an entry-level piece and as a watch to wear casually as an unexpected accent.
The watch comes with its rare original period warranty certificate and box.

## Condition and Warranty
It has barely been polished, so there are some scratches, but overall we believe it is in good condition.
There are inevitably some scratches on the case back and case when viewed closely, but we have intentionally left them as they are to preserve the period character and plating.
The hands, crystal, and dial are all beautiful, and the watch appears to be in excellent condition for a Pre-Must.
The dial in particular has almost no cracking and features a beautiful white finish, making it quite rare.
