The Tank Louis Cartier is the quintessential model of the Tank series.
This is an LM type model made around the 1980s, featuring a thin Cal. 21 movement manufactured by Frederic Piguet.
This particular piece is quite rare as it comes with an international perpetual guarantee. Furthermore, it's a rare specimen with the original PARIS dial.
Moreover, it has just undergone a complete service this year.
With its original PARIS dial, thin manual winding movement, and solid gold case, this model can be considered the complete form among Tank Louis watches.
While the Tank Louis LM with the non-thin Cal. 78 movement is also wonderful, models equipped with the high-end Frederic Piguet movement like this one are quite scarce and rare.
Also, this piece received a complete service in March 2023 and is in excellent condition.
Overall, it is in good condition with few significant dents or scratches.
The case does not show signs of thinning or rounded-off edges. It was originally in beautiful condition, so it was finished with a light polish.
The original PARIS dial shows no discoloration and is clean white with almost no stains.
There are some faint cracks in a very small area near 12 to 2 o'clock, but they are almost imperceptible and should not be a concern.
The dial is in very good condition.
There are no scratches on the crystal.
Overall, it appears to be in excellent condition.
The buckle is genuine Cartier, made of 18k yellow gold.
