Cartier Tank Louis XL Jumbo PARIS Dial Ref. 17011 Automatic Winding Condition A

This is a rare automatic model within the Louis Cartier collection, known as Jumbo or XL.
The Ref. 17011, introduced here, as its "Jumbo" name suggests, is a larger model at 28mm, whereas the LM model is 24mm.
A distinctive feature is the bulging case back, which accommodates the thick movement with its rotor, making the case remarkably thick.
This size and thickness are particularly rare for a Louis Cartier.

The Jumbo models are scarce, and many people are looking for them. This particular piece is a rare find, with an uncommon PARIS dial and the dial itself being in excellent condition.

The case is in remarkably good condition overall, with few significant dents or scratches.
There is no thinning of the case or rounding of its shape. The gold engraving on the side is also intact. The serial number on the case back is clearly visible and in very good condition.

The crystal is original and has almost no scratches.
The dial is the original PARIS dial from that era, and it's a beautiful white dial with no discoloration. It is very clean with no stains.
There is a faint thin crack extending from the 2 o'clock to the 4 o'clock position, but it is only noticeable depending on the light.
I personally believe it's not very noticeable unless you look very closely.
Other than that, there are no stains or smudges, and apart from the faint crack, it is in a remarkably clean state, rarely seen.
Given how faint the crack is, I highly recommend this piece (it's hard to see in photos, so if you're interested, I can provide a video).

If you are at all concerned, you could have the dial replaced through a complete Cartier service, but as it's a PARIS dial, I strongly recommend keeping it as is.

The buckle is the original Cartier 18k from that era, and the band is also an original Cartier band.
The band is new.
