The "Tank Louis," which has been historically and is still popular today, was released to the general public as the Must Tank. The rare early Must Tank is called the Pre-Must Tank, and this particular model is a Pre-Must Tank for the European market, produced in even smaller quantities.
The European specification is almost identical to the Tank Louis in its basic construction. The major differences are that the case is vermeil instead of 18K gold, and the dial notation is in script rather than block lettering. For this reason, it is popular because it does not look like a Louis at first glance, but it is a very rare item. With the current soaring prices of the Louis, this is a recommended item.
As for its condition, there are few dents or scratches on the case, and the plating remains firmly intact (only the crown is slightly faded). To preserve the original plating, it has not been polished much, so there are some scratches, but I believe it is in good condition. The dial, hands, and crystal are all clean, and for a Pre-Must, it is considered to be in very good condition.
