A sports-luxury model from Vacheron Constantin, one of the “Big Three” watchmakers.
Based on the serial number, this watch dates from around 1965 to the 1970s.
It is equipped with the prestigious Cal. 1003, which was the world’s thinnest movement at the time.
The crystal, dial, hands, and other components were designed with an emphasis on slimness, resulting in an exceptionally sophisticated construction measuring just 4 mm thick.
Dating from before the Overseas and resembling the predecessor to the 222, it features a sporty bracelet. Its design is highly reminiscent of the Phidias.
This is an extremely rare model that seldom comes to market. It is a Two-Tone model in YG and SS, with gold also used on the dial, making it a particularly luxurious piece.
It is historically fascinating and in excellent condition, making it highly recommended.
The Strap accommodates a Wrist Size of up to 18 cm, making it suitable for most men.
