Cartier Vendome Louis Cartier LM PARIS Dial Gold Manual Winding

The "Vendôme Louis Cartier" Ref: 78090 was released as part of the 1970s Louis Cartier collection. This piece encapsulates the best of Cartier from that era, featuring solid gold, a hand-wound movement, and a PARIS dial.

During this period, Cartier models pre-date the existence of the secret logo on the dial. While the SM (small model) is commonly found, the LM (large model) is scarce. Its round shape fits comfortably on the wrist, and the case's double line design adds a touch of elegance.

The dial remains the original, rare PARIS dial, a testament to its authenticity from that time. There are faint cracks throughout, but these are only noticeable when zoomed in with a camera or under direct light. They are not very prominent when worn or when checking the time. For those concerned, replacing the dial through a complete service is an option (though not recommended given it's a PARIS dial).

The case retains its original finish from that period, with minor scratches but no significant dents. It has generally received a light polish. The crystal has hardly any scratches. The band is a custom-made aftermarket item (with a rubber lining).

The movement is the highly reliable cal. 78-1 hand-wound movement, which has been overhauled and maintained.
