Among the Santos-Dumont series, the masterpiece slim model "Extra Flat."
Equipped with Frederic Piguet's Cal. 21, it is a popular model among collectors.
This type comes in two dial variations: a guilloché type and a flat type, and this one is the non-guilloché type.
The non-guilloché type is a very classical and atmospheric piece.
This model is in excellent condition, with the dial particularly well-preserved, making it highly recommended.
The CPCP Santos Extra Flat model from the 2000s was based on this model, with nearly identical size and construction.
The differences are that, while both use Cal. 21, the movement in this model is undecorated, and the guilloché on the dial is more deeply engraved and emphasized.
While both are a matter of preference, if you wish to enjoy the beautiful guilloché characteristic of this era, this model is undoubtedly the one.
The overall condition is very good, suggesting it was kept in a considerably good environment given its age.
The dial has no dirt, cracks, or discoloration whatsoever. There are no noticeable scratches on the glass either.
The case has had almost no polishing. While there are some scratches on the case and bezel, major scratches and dents are quite few.
The edges are also well-defined. The original case condition has been maintained and is in beautiful shape.
