Introducing the Ellipse, released around the 1970s as part of the Louis Cartier collection.
Although “Ellipse” refers to an oval shape, very few models feature such a distinctive design while retaining Cartier’s signature classic character.
It features the classic Roman numeral dial and a distinctive double-line bezel design.
The word “PARIS” appears at 6 o’clock on the dial.
Because replacing the dial changes this to “SWISS,” examples retaining the period-correct “PARIS” designation are more sought after.

Condition and Warranty
This Ellipse LM is in excellent overall condition. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an example in particularly good condition.The case has some minor scratches, but no major scratches or dents.
It appears to be in exceptionally good condition.
The dial has no cracks or staining and is exceptionally clean. Its color has taken on a subtle ivory tone, which gives it excellent character.
The crystal has only minor scratches and is also exceptionally clean.
Overall, this is a particularly well-preserved example.
