The Must Tank, released for a wider audience after the historically popular “Tank Louis,” which remains popular today.
This is a rare early Must Tank—often referred to as a Pre-Must Tank—and, more specifically, a Pre-Must Tank produced in very limited quantities for the European market.
Its early bullet-shaped crown gives it an exceptional vintage character.
The European version is fundamentally very similar in construction to the Tank Louis. The main differences are that the case is vermeil rather than 18-karat gold, and the dial features script lettering instead of block lettering.
As a result, it is designed in a way that makes it difficult to identify at a glance as a Louis. This version is popular, but extremely rare.
With the price of Louis models continuing to rise, this is highly recommended.

Condition and Warranty
This watch is offered at an accessible price due to slight discoloration on the dial and minor scratches on the case.
The case has relatively few dents and scratches, and the original plating remains in good condition.
Because we wanted to preserve the original plating, the case has been polished very little. It does have some scratches, but overall we believe it is in good condition.
The caseback also has minor scratches, but the plating remains well preserved, as does the Serial Number. Overall, the condition is good.
Both the hands and crystal are clean, and it is believed to be in exceptionally good condition for a Pre-Must. The hands are blue, as on the Louis.
The dial shows slight discoloration overall.
The discoloration gives it a light ivory tone throughout, but it has an appealing character and is not as ivory as a Must Tank, giving it an attractive patina.
There are some areas of dirt and other marks, but overall the condition is considered good.
It comes with a genuine GP Buckle from a different Era.
