Cartier’s iconic Tank Louis.
This is a custom-ordered 1980s Tank Louis LM model.
Because it is exceptionally rare, we debated keeping it in our own stock, but have decided to offer it for sale during February.
Featuring Factory-Set Diamonds, a Factory-Set Diamonds dial, and an elaborate construction in which the glass and case shape also differ from those of a standard Louis. This is a piece that reflects the discerning taste of the original client.
When we checked the reference with Cartier, they told us it was not a piece from the regular collection line, but rather something close to a unique custom order. (They also confirmed that everything is original.)
It was presumably extremely expensive even at the time.
It is unlikely that another Louis with this design will appear in the future.
It should also have considerable collectible appeal.
Even Cartier representatives said they had rarely seen this model, making it an exceptionally rare piece.
We have seen this type of case design only on an extremely limited number of models.
Everything is unquestionably original, and we guarantee it.
While Cartier’s Louis Tank models are often characterized by their orthodox designs, this striking piece replaces the area normally occupied by the glass with a gold gadrooned decoration and appears almost entirely paved with diamonds.
Although it is quartz-powered, it is actually superior in terms of slimness, and quartz may be better suited to this watch’s design and intended use.

Condition and Warranty
Of course, it can receive Cartier’s complete service, so you can enjoy using it with confidence.
The case is in good condition, with no major dents or similar damage.
Aside from that, there are very few scratches, and the overall condition is excellent.
The dial and hands also have almost no scratches and are exceptionally clean.
The glass has a few minor scratches, but they are barely noticeable.
Overall, we believe it is in very good condition.
The original Cartier Deployant Buckle from the period is fitted.
The watch is fitted with a crocodile Strap custom-made by our shop. (Suitable for approximately 16.5–18.5 cm wrists.)
