Here we present a rare Tri-Compax by Universal Genève, renowned for its development of the micro-rotor and other innovations.
The Tri-Compax is one of Universal Genève’s signature masterpieces.
Featuring a wealth of functions—a triple calendar, moon phase, and chronograph—it is a model for which well-preserved examples are becoming increasingly scarce.
This example was manufactured around 1940 and is an Early Model Tri-Compax, close to the earliest versions, with a non-water-resistant case.
Many watches from this Era feature Arabic numerals, but this example has clean, understated applied baton markers that create a smart impression.
The Dial shows little deterioration, and considering its Era, this appears to be an exceptionally well-preserved example—one that rarely comes to market.

Condition and Warranty
The case has some minor scratches but no major dents. It is essentially unpolished, and considering its Era, the case remains remarkably clean.The Dial and hands have some scratches and staining, but considering their Era, they remain in relatively good condition.
The usual tarnishing and fading of the markers and hands are minimal, and the overall condition is quite good.
The crystal is also clean.
There are no other particularly noticeable issues, and the watch has not been polished in order to preserve its original condition.
Overall, it is in good condition considering its Era.
The Buckle is a genuine Universal Genève stainless-steel Buckle. The Strap is aftermarket.
