Cartier Santos-DumontLM CPCP Extra-Flat Guilloché Dial

The Collection Privée Cartier Paris, or CPCP series, represents Cartier's work from the 2000s. This is the CPCP model of the Santos-Dumont LM Extra-Flat. It retains the design of the masterpiece Extra-Flat model and features PARIS beneath the Cartier inscription at 12 o'clock, the hallmark of CPCP models. With an exceptionally limited production run, this is a rare example. Its modernized dial and movement are especially eye-catching. The major differences from the 1980s Extra-Flat model are that, despite using the same Cal. 21, the movement is decorated, while the dial's Guilloché has shallower engraving and was modified to be less prominent. The case diameter is also the same, but details of the internal construction were changed, reflecting Cartier's attention to detail. This piece lets you appreciate the distinctive differences of a CPCP model, and we highly recommend it as an exceptionally rare example.
