This is the large XL size from the long-running Santos Galbée series.
It features a date and a seconds hand, making it one of Cartier’s collections that is easy to enjoy every day.
The XL was introduced in 2005 as a derivative of the Santos Galbée, but its production period was very short, making it an exceptionally rare model.
It is somewhat larger than the Santos Galbée and Santos Carrée models that had continued since the 1980s, but it is smaller than the current Santos, retaining a strong vintage character.
Its well-balanced proportions, slim movement, and rounded double-folding bracelet make it an especially practical model.
This is a luxury sports design that can be enjoyed with a vintage aesthetic.
The Case Size is 35 mm, making it exceptionally comfortable in scale.

## Condition and Warranty
There are very few scratches or dents overall, and this example is in exceptionally good condition.
There are some fine scratches, but the bracelet has very little sag and remains in excellent condition.
It has received only a light polish, with polishing kept to a minimum.
The case and other components show some minor scratches and signs of use, but there are relatively few significant impact marks. (Polishing has been kept to a minimum.)
The dial is clean, with no visible dirt.
There appears to be virtually no scratching or discoloration.
The caseback also has relatively few scratches, and the engravings remain clearly visible.
Overall, this is a very well-preserved watch that appears to have been worn infrequently.
