H. Moser Round WG AT cal.71 Frederic Piguet 1970s

Today, we're introducing the high-end watch manufacturer, H. Moser & Cie.

Although a brand with a long history, founded in 1828, it went out of business in 1979 due to the quartz crisis.
It was revived in modern times by the prestigious Meylan family and has since become a luxury brand producing small quantities of watches with unique designs and mechanisms.

This piece is from before the brand went out of business in 1979. Given that it is equipped with Frédéric Piguet's Cal. 71, which was introduced in 1971, it is believed to be a product from 1971-1979.
The Frédéric Piguet Cal. 70/71 is essentially the predecessor of the Cal. 502, which is currently used in the Breguet Classique. Its basic design has remained unchanged, making it a movement that has been active for over 50 years.
It features an off-center rotor and a very thin construction.

This men's size watch features an 18k white gold case with intricate detailing.
Vintage H. Moser & Cie. pieces are not widely known, so their流通量 is not particularly high.
The condition is quite good, and it's an historically interesting piece.
The original 18k white gold buckle is also included (a custom strap order is required if you wish to use it).

The case has minor scratches but no major dents and is in very good condition.
Minor scratches on the case back and other parts have been left as is.
The case is essentially unpolished but in excellent condition.

The crystal appears to have few scratches and is clean to the naked eye.
The dial may have some scuffs and minor scratches, but it appears clean.
The hands have some discoloration but have been left as is.
A non-original buckle is currently attached. The original H. Moser & Cie. white gold buckle is also included.
The strap is a non-original one.
If you wish to use the original buckle, you can order a custom strap, so please inquire.
