Universal Genève Polerouter Sub Full Original 869109/1 Gay Frères Bracelet

Introducing a rare Polerouter Sub by Universal Geneve, famous for its development of micro-rotors.

The Polerouter Sub is Universal Geneeve's iconic diver's model. Its asymmetrical case, Gay Frères bracelet, screw-down crown, and ultra-thin case thanks to the micro-rotor make for a unique Universal design not found in other brands, which is a fascinating feature.

This particular piece, manufactured between the late 1960s and the 1970s, is in fully original condition. The bracelet also appears to be complete with all its links.

With minimal damage to the dial, the watch is in remarkably good condition considering its age, making it a rare find.

The case and bracelet show minor scratches but no major dents. While basically unpolished, the case condition is quite clean for its age. The case back has minor scratches but is clean. The serial number, though slightly faded, is still clearly visible. The dial, hands, etc., have minor scratches and dirt, but are clean considering their age. The common dullness and fading of the indexes and hands are minimal, and the condition appears to be quite good. The crystal is not broken, but there is an overall haziness, making it look slightly cracked. This is a rare original Universal crystal with an internal cyclops lens, so it has not been replaced, but if necessary, it can be replaced with a generic crystal (the lens will not be included). The bracelet has some stretch but is in good overall condition. The clasp is also secure.

Overall good condition considering its age.
