We are pleased to introduce this rare Audemars Piguet Millenary 25914BA/O/1136BA/01 AT from the renowned “Big Three” brand Audemars Piguet.
This Millenary is characterized by its beautiful oval shape, inspired by Rome’s Colosseum.
It is a limited-edition model known as the Millenary Kasparov.
The chess-inspired dial is distinctive, and this complicated watch features dual time, date, and power reserve functions.
With a 39 mm face, its size was standard for a men's watch at the time, while its oval shape means it does not feel overly large even today.
It should also suit women who prefer a larger face.
This watch is equipped with AP’s slim Automatic movement, Cal. 2229.
This movement was also used in the Royal Oak of the period and is particularly notable for its slim profile.
The later Millenary skeleton movements are also exceptionally beautiful, but this model, combining a smaller face with a slim movement, is no less appealing.
Although it incorporates the complicated functions of dual time, power reserve, and date, its structure is simple to operate using a single crown.

The distinctive oval case, chessboard-inspired dial, and dual-time, date, and power-reserve displays are all contained within a single face. Measuring approximately 39 × 41 mm, its oval shape gives the outline a uniquely light and graceful presence.

This example is Ref. 25914BA/O/1136BA/01, with an 18KYG case and Automatic movement. It is equipped with the slim Cal. 2229. The 18KYG bracelet dedicated to this model, shown in the photos, is not included in the current price and is sold separately.

The vertically and horizontally extended oval case gives it a presence distinct from that of a conventional round watch. Despite being in the 39 mm class, its thickness is not strongly felt, creating an impression somewhere between a dress watch and a complicated timepiece on the wrist.
