The Must de Tank was released for a wider audience as the historically enduringly popular “Tank Louis.”
Rare early Must Tanks without the “Must de” designation are known as pre-Must Tanks.
This is a model intended for the American market.
With Tank Louis prices rising, this is a recommended piece.
The differences between the Tank Louis and pre-Must are the materials and dial markings, but when placed side by side, they look remarkably similar, making it easy to understand why production was discontinued.
It would be an interesting choice both as an entry point and as a casual watch for adding a touch of contrast to an outfit.

Condition and Warranty
It has barely been polished, so there are some scratches, but the original plating remains intact. Overall, it is in good condition.
The caseback and case have some light scratches upon close inspection, but we have intentionally left them as they are to preserve the period character and plating.
The hands, crystal, and the watch overall are in clean condition for a pre-Must model.
The dial shows some light discoloration, but it has almost no cracks and very few scratches, making it quite rare.
The original Strap is included. It has developed some patina over the years, but remains perfectly usable. If preferred, it can be replaced with an aftermarket Strap.
Rare period warranty papers and the box are included.
Although the product details are not filled in, these are valuable Included Accessories.
