A rare stepped Tank, known only to vintage Cartier enthusiasts.
This is Ref.5512117, a European-specification model with a rare Black Dial.
With a face size of 27.5 cm, this boys’-size model is a comfortable size.
The stepped Tank was produced in limited quantities around 1970—approximately between 1973 and 1976—in New York, Paris, and London.
There are subtle design differences between regions, and this is the simplest version.
Models with a Black Dial and plated finish without “must de” markings are quite rare. This square-shaped model is also a comfortable, easy-to-wear size.

Condition and Warranty
Overall, the watch appears to be in excellent condition.
The case has only minor scratches, with no dents or other significant damage. The caseback also has only minor scratches and remains relatively clean.
The dial has light cracks throughout, visible depending on the lighting. (They are difficult to notice without close inspection.)
There is little dirt or scratching otherwise, and the condition is good.
The hands are also clean, with virtually no discoloration or scratches.
The original crystal is very clean, with only minor scratches.
It is fitted with a period-correct genuine Cartier GP Buckle.
