We are pleased to introduce the Tonneau LM, a popular model known for its relatively large size among the collections of the 1980s.
The Tonneau is a dress watch characterized by elegant curves. This model was released in the mid-1980s, well before the CPCP, in a form reminiscent of a revival of a Tonneau from around the 1920s.
Unlike the CPCP, the Guilloché Dial features “PARIS” at 6 o’clock, while the vintage-style numerals give it a suitably classical character.
It is also an unusually large LM size for a vintage Cartier, making it recommended for anyone looking for a slightly larger vintage Cartier.

Condition and Warranty
The case is in good overall condition, with few significant dents or scratches.
The case shape remains well defined, without a rounded appearance. The minimal polishing is evident.
There are virtually no scratches on the crystal or hands.
The period Guilloché Dial is in excellent condition, with no cracks.
There are areas with slight dirt, but no discoloration or breaks, and the overall condition is good.
Overall, the watch appears to be in very good condition.
The Buckle is a genuine Cartier 18k yellow gold adjustable Deployant Buckle, and the Strap is a custom-made aftermarket piece.
(A Strap would need to be made separately, but it is also possible to replace it with an 18K yellow gold Cartier Deployant Buckle from the 1980s. Please contact us if this is of interest.)
