Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 4268 Manual Winding Rectangular 1980s
Patek Philippe, a world-renowned manufacture established in 1839. The Gondolo, whose origins are said to stem from Patek Philippe's sales to Gondolo & Labouriau of Brazil. Though its appearance has changed over time, it often features a square case, making it a rare model that continues to reign as an object of admiration, distinct from the Calatrava. This Ref. 4268 features a square case of a moderate size, quite similar in dimensions to the Tank Louis Cartier LM from the 1980s. Unlike the Louis, the case and glass are curved into an R-shape, and the crown is housed within the case, resulting in a very sleek design. Equipped with the Cal. 16-250, this slim hand-wound model offers an appealing price for a Patek with dimensions similar to the Tank Louis LM. The case is in generally good condition with minor scratches, but no major dents or significant damage. Minor scratches remain on the case, but have not been removed to minimize polishing. Engravings on the side and case back are still clearly visible. The case back is also very clean, with only minor scratches. The dial is a clean white. Upon closer inspection, there are faint cracks throughout, but they are only visible under certain lighting conditions. Both the hands and glass are clean, with almost no dirt or scratches. The buckle is the original 18k WG from that period. The strap is aftermarket. This item will be delivered after an overhaul (please allow approximately 3 weeks). 《Product Details》 Brand Name: Patek Philippe Product Name: Gondolo Ref. 4268 Serial: 277**** Movement: Hand-wound Caliber: Patek Cal. 16-250 Material: 18KYG Era: 1980s Color: Yellow Case Diameter: Approximately 23mm x 30mm (width) Wrist size: Up to 18cm Buckle: Original 18kYG Strap: Aftermarket Accessories: Our warranty card Delivery after overhaul (please allow approximately 3 weeks for completion)
