The Step Tank, one of the rarest models among vintage Cartier watches.
This model was produced in very limited numbers around 1970, approximately between 1973 and 1976, in New York, Paris, and London.
There are subtle design differences between regions.
This is either the Paris or London model, featuring a push-back case without screws on the case back.
Because both were produced in Europe, the Paris and London models are extremely similar and difficult to distinguish. This example was sold in either Paris or London.
Only 5,000 examples of each were produced at the time, making them exceptionally rare.
Cartier watches with cases of this size were produced and distributed in limited numbers, and solid-gold examples have risen considerably in value.
This watch has a vermeil case and a rare Blue Dial, even among Step Tank models. (The dark blue color is difficult to appreciate in the photographs.)

Condition and Warranty
The overall condition appears to be excellent.
The case has only fine scratches, with no dents. The original plating remains firmly in place. Although there are areas where the plating has thinned or come off, it has not been replated out of respect for the original condition.
The case back has only minor scratches, and the Serial Number on the inside remains clearly intact. It is comparatively clean.
Overall, the watch is in excellent condition.
The case has some minor scratches but no major dents, and there is almost no visible loss of plating.
The dial has some light rubbing and a few faint cracks, but they are difficult to notice without close inspection. It has a beautifully vivid Blue Dial.
The crystal has some minor scratches but is clean overall.
As it is the original crystal, an example this clean is quite rare.
It is fitted with a genuine Cartier GP Buckle.
The Strap is aftermarket.
This is a rare, large-size model that is unusual among vintage Cartier watches.
